Located just north of Old City, Northern Liberties is one of Philly's most popular neighborhoods filled with boutique shops, bars and restaurants. Cheap studio space lured artists from Old City in the 90's and the neighborhood has been in transition since. Now an established neighborhood, Northern Liberties may not be cheap anymore, but it's lure and charm are as strong as ever.
This place is simple: a decent lunch spot for sandwich-type items, but mostly a great selection of local, national and international beers, all by the bottle. Warning: if you’re not careful, you very well may end up with a $20+ six-pack, but sometimes that’s the price you pay for variety.
