The Dundas West strip is in a constant state of flux, with new shops and restaurants popping up on a regular basis, while older establishments become neighbourhood institutions. Dundas West is a nice blend of Portuguese bakeries, cozy cafes, curated shops and hip bars, creating an eclectic mix of daytime and nighttime activities. The condo boom has yet to hit the strip, allowing Dundas West to keep it's edge.

If you want to truly experience Toronto’s multicultural food scene, Market 707 is the place to go. Started in 2010, ten shipping containers were retrofitted to accommodate fridges, hotplates, fryers and whatever else a small business might need. Each stall offers it’s own unique flavour and you can get everything from empanadas to chicken karage to west indian roti to authentic Quebecois poutine. Market 707 is Toronto at it’s best.
