Tucked away in a quiet and obscure corner of the West End, Adesso Bistro offers some of the city’s warmest service and best home-cooked food. With a focus on north-western Italian cuisine, you will find plenty of delicious seafood (get the Frito Misto di Mari to start). My favourite dish on the menu, however, is a red wine braised beef—Brasato di Manzo. The patio in the summer is an absolute delight, and with $6 martinis from Sunday to Thursday, this place is well worth the visit.
