Despite being one of the most densely populated neighbourhoods in North America, the West End is a quaint quarter and home to a culturally diverse and neighbourly community. It is bordered by Vancouver’s downtown core on one side, waterfronts on two, and crowned with the city’s largest and oldest park. With an abundance of restaurants, bars, and awe-inspiring outdoor spaces the West End is an obvious stop for visitors. Its charming architecture and seemingly endless tree-lined streets make it a prime choice for anyone looking to take up residence in Vancouver.

For five years, Damso has been fusing traditional Korean recipes with modern cooking techniques and Western food. The result is menu of perfectly prepared dishes (sous-vide) that will sate any appetite. My favourites are the Stone Bowl Beef Bibimbop and the Korean Taco (both pictured).
