West End & Stanley Park

Despite being one of the most densely populated neighbourhoods in North America, the West End is a quaint quarter and home to a culturally diverse and neighbourly community. It is bordered by Vancouver’s downtown core on one side, waterfronts on two, and crowned with the city’s largest and oldest park. With an abundance of restaurants, bars, and awe-inspiring outdoor spaces the West End is an obvious stop for visitors. Its charming architecture and seemingly endless tree-lined streets make it a prime choice for anyone looking to take up residence in Vancouver.

When you want something done right, you do it yourself; that’s essentially the story of how this rustic, family-style, Southern Italian restaurant was started. Since 2009 Nook has been a staple in the casual dining scene in Vancouver, and a go-to spot for delicious pizza, pasta, cocktails, and wine. I like sitting at the bar and checking out the rest of the room; I also like (no wait—love) the Salami Pizza, the Burrata and Prosciutto plate, and an Aperol Spritz to wash it all down.
