West End & Stanley Park

Despite being one of the most densely populated neighbourhoods in North America, the West End is a quaint quarter and home to a culturally diverse and neighbourly community. It is bordered by Vancouver’s downtown core on one side, waterfronts on two, and crowned with the city’s largest and oldest park. With an abundance of restaurants, bars, and awe-inspiring outdoor spaces the West End is an obvious stop for visitors. Its charming architecture and seemingly endless tree-lined streets make it a prime choice for anyone looking to take up residence in Vancouver.

One of four West End beaches but definitely the biggest and sandiest of the lot. Here’s what you do: Pack a picnic and ride your bike along the Seawall until you get to Ferguson Point—that's where the beach is. Once there, sneak a sip of a refreshing beverage and catch a few rays before you dip into the cool ocean. Take a minute (or ten), take a deep breath, and take it all in, you lucky bastard.
