District IX is one of the city’s fastest developing areas. The part inside Ferenc körút is a busy zone with the city’s most beautiful Market Hall, cafés, restaurants, and the spectacular Museum of Applied Arts. The area between Ferenc körút and Haller utca attracts tourists with great craft beers and cultural institutions, while the area behind Haller is still mainly industrial (with great architecture, though!).
Homemade jam, flaky pastry, croissants, pastries and real milk – these are the specialties of Butter Brothers, a very popular breakfast spot for the students of Corvinus university nearby. Sandwiches, home made spreads and other fresh snacks are also available.
