Kent, Ohio is an historical town located on the Cuyahoga River twenty minutes east of Akron. It’s best known for Kent State and the events of 1970, but in recent years, the town has been expanding its restaurant scene, community events, and connection to the university, making it an exciting place to live. Known as the Tree City, the best time to be in Kent is fall for the changing leaves, and summer for all of the green—a welcome sight after the cold Ohio winter!

Kent Cycle is a locally owned bicycle and repair shop that has been in Kent for about five years. They sell new + used bicycles, gear, and apparel, and they have a top-notch repair service. They also put on some great local and regional riding events. If you’re lucky to be in the shop on the right day, you’ll get to meet their dog Roscoe.
