Kent

Kent, Ohio is an historical town located on the Cuyahoga River twenty minutes east of Akron. It’s best known for Kent State and the events of 1970, but in recent years, the town has been expanding its restaurant scene, community events, and connection to the university, making it an exciting place to live. Known as the Tree City, the best time to be in Kent is fall for the changing leaves, and summer for all of the green—a welcome sight after the cold Ohio winter!

Everything about Lucci’s is exactly what you’d imagine in the classic pizza joint. There’s something magical about the experience; the banter from behind the counter, the no-frills presentation, and the proportion of grease per-slice endear this place as the kind of hole-in-the-wall you can spend years trying to find. Plus you can’t beat the quality of the goods—it’s the best New York style pizza in town. Walk in for a slice at lunch or pick up a pie to-go and you’ll see what we mean.
