The experience at The Hive Studios begins the moment you approach the front door on Rockbridge Street. With dark wood and a contrasting yellow sign, entering feels like stepping into a modern New York studio, showing off concrete floors, sharp edges, and floating display cases. What is different about this Salon, though? It’s business model. Walking through the building you will see various glass-partitioned rooms. These rooms are all independently rented and run, making this space a collaboration of various individual artists set up in “mini-mall” fashion.
