Back in the day, Ybor City was home to the world’s largest cigar rolling factories and the central hub for hispanic refugees to make new lives. Today, although some of those factories still stand, they are occupied by some of our favorite restaurants, bars, and after-work hangouts. From sushi and breweries to the historic architecture, Ybor City offers some of the coolest places to visit. The City also boasts multiple historic hispanic clubs including the Cuban Club, Centro Asturiano, and El Centro Español de Tampa. Overall, Ybor is a modernization of some the coolest history Florida has to offer.
A century ago the Cuban Club was a space for people of Cuban heritage to fellowship and prosper. Today, although it is a community for Cubans, it's also a window into the rich history and culture of Ybor City. The Club can be booked for events without a lack of space; between 3 floors, a ballroom, cantina, patio and theater, they’ve got you covered.
