Back in the day, Ybor City was home to the world’s largest cigar rolling factories and the central hub for hispanic refugees to make new lives. Today, although some of those factories still stand, they are occupied by some of our favorite restaurants, bars, and after-work hangouts. From sushi and breweries to the historic architecture, Ybor City offers some of the coolest places to visit. The City also boasts multiple historic hispanic clubs including the Cuban Club, Centro Asturiano, and El Centro Español de Tampa. Overall, Ybor is a modernization of some the coolest history Florida has to offer.
A 7th Ave mom and pop shop, this deli is the closest to having it all as we can get. Heaping portions of pretty much everything including subs, greek salads, pressed cubans and homemade dressings and bread are just a few of the reasons why you should stop by this small shop. Don’t forget to grab a rewards card on your way out!
