Downtown & Yaletown

Vancouver's dense and diverse centre is home to the city's main arts and cultural venues, sports stadiums, major shopping districts and the wild, rambunctious nightlife of the Granville Entertainment Row. To its immediate south-east, the former industrial lands of Yaletown have transformed since the 90's into one of the densest residential neighbourhoods in North America. Packed with great restaurants and fun little shops, and bounded by a scenic stretch of the False Creek waterfront, it is a must for any visitor to the city.

There is certainly no shortage of great coffee shops in Vancouver. As a recent addition to the Homer streetfront in the heart of Yaletown, Small Victory continues that proud tradition, but distinguishes itself from the riffraff with a spectacular assortment of baked goods. The desserts are out of this world and they are attracting quite a crowd at all times of day. The bright open space is designed by Campos Leckie, and features an art installation by Tinto Creative.
