Affectionately abbreviated as O4W, the neighborhood is steeped in Atlanta's history, most notably because it marks both the birthplace and final resting place of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Today, it is highlighted by some of the most interesting new developments in the city. The neighborhood is a proverbial melting pot of Atlantans with a number of unique offerings designed to suit any lifestyle. O4W helps stitch together the other neighborhoods around it and contains an eclectic mix of both old and new restaurants, shops, and parks.
Sure it looks like it's falling down from the outside, but this Atlanta staple hosts some of the best concerts and festivals in the city.
With an increasingly popular cycling-friendly environment in Atlanta, this community-driven bicycle shop located on the BeltLine plays a crucial role in facilitating that movement. The space looks kind of like an open-air miniature airplane hangar and it's super cool. With walls of tires, gears, and tools, it's a great place for any level of cycler to check out and enjoy.
