Affectionately abbreviated as O4W, the neighborhood is steeped in Atlanta's history, most notably because it marks both the birthplace and final resting place of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Today, it is highlighted by some of the most interesting new developments in the city. The neighborhood is a proverbial melting pot of Atlantans with a number of unique offerings designed to suit any lifestyle. O4W helps stitch together the other neighborhoods around it and contains an eclectic mix of both old and new restaurants, shops, and parks.
Sure it looks like it's falling down from the outside, but this Atlanta staple hosts some of the best concerts and festivals in the city.
This small batch ice cream company gets its first brick-and-mortar store in Atlanta and crafts its offerings ultra carefully. Using only the freshest of ingredients, Queen of Cream offers not only a menu of fun, interesting ice cream flavors but also an awesome line of high-end flavors with high-end taste. Oh yeah, they're also specializing in some interesting lines of coffee and the magical combinations that happen when you pair them with their genius ice cream. All together now...mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
