Covent Garden

Covent Garden is a popular tourist spot that is defined between Long Acre (north), Strand (south), Drury Lane (east) and St Martin’s Lane (west). It quite literally has a colourful past, known for its fashionable fruit and vegetable market then later becoming a red light district. Nowadays you can still experience the beautiful buildings and hidden windy streets that house many major cultural venues, independent shops and cafes, world-class restaurants and high-end hotels.

For modern interior lovers, Aram’s multi-storey building is a must-visit destination. Over 50 years old, you'll find all the big names and classic designs there by Knoll, Vitra, Flos, Kartell, Fritz Hansen, Ercol and much more. Whilst many of the products are not in most people’s budgets, there’s still a good selection of cards and small gifts in the affordable range. It’s also worth heading up to the fourth floor exhibition space, which is used to showcase emerging designers, changing themes a few times a year.
