Covent Garden is a popular tourist spot that is defined between Long Acre (north), Strand (south), Drury Lane (east) and St Martin’s Lane (west). It quite literally has a colourful past, known for its fashionable fruit and vegetable market then later becoming a red light district. Nowadays you can still experience the beautiful buildings and hidden windy streets that house many major cultural venues, independent shops and cafes, world-class restaurants and high-end hotels.
The Vintage Showroom on Earlham Street is the business’s retail store (their Notting Hill space is by appointment only). Here you’ll find men’s clothes and accessories in mint condition, from American workwear, military and collegiate styles to classic English tailoring. It’s a deceptively large store with a basement space (formerly a hardware store since 1835), and totally unpretentious.
