Davis Square

Officially designated as a square by the City of Somerville in 1883, Davis Square has a long history as a nearby neighbor to downtown Boston. However, it wasn't until the late 1980's that the square and surrounding blocks began to boom, after the MBTA extended the Red line to Davis. Today, Davis is a vibrant nightlife and dining district bustling with a unique mix of hipsters, college kids, young parents, and professionals. It's got everything one might need—but if not—you'll find yourself a short five stops on the T to Park Street Station and downtown Boston.

As one of the newest members to the square, Meju is making it's mark with excellent Korean food, a unique cocktail list, and a relaxed environment. The dishes are well presented and seating can be arranged for large groups, or just two. Great for date night. Pro Tip: Get the purple rice Bibimbap, a traditional Korean dish, and the best I’ve had anywhere, but get a reservation because this place fills up fast.
