Davis Square

Officially designated as a square by the City of Somerville in 1883, Davis Square has a long history as a nearby neighbor to downtown Boston. However, it wasn't until the late 1980's that the square and surrounding blocks began to boom, after the MBTA extended the Red line to Davis. Today, Davis is a vibrant nightlife and dining district bustling with a unique mix of hipsters, college kids, young parents, and professionals. It's got everything one might need—but if not—you'll find yourself a short five stops on the T to Park Street Station and downtown Boston.

With a t-shirt that reads, “Eat my nuts” you can be sure this place doesn’t take itself too seriously. Q’s makes delicious, hand-made, and original roasted nuts in flavors that you won’t find anywhere. The only thing better than the smell is the free taste-test of all the unique flavors and nut varieties they have—and they have a lot! Good luck choosing a flavor, I usually don’t leave without 3 different kinds. *Pro-Tip: They serve ice cream in addition to nuts but plan your visit right as they close at 7pm!*
