Davis Square

Officially designated as a square by the City of Somerville in 1883, Davis Square has a long history as a nearby neighbor to downtown Boston. However, it wasn't until the late 1980's that the square and surrounding blocks began to boom, after the MBTA extended the Red line to Davis. Today, Davis is a vibrant nightlife and dining district bustling with a unique mix of hipsters, college kids, young parents, and professionals. It's got everything one might need—but if not—you'll find yourself a short five stops on the T to Park Street Station and downtown Boston.

Curious about the flavor of Boston Bittahs? I am too. Once you’re inside the Boston Shaker Company you’ll be greeted by friendly staff and a massive shelving of bitters. They have everything you need whether you’re looking for ingredients, or a new Japanese-Style Jigger. And for the unsure, they have an extensive collection of bitters open for sampling. *Pro Tip: Weeknights you’re likely to find special events like Craft Cocktail Techniques, and more. Check the website for the latest info.*
