For better or for worse, South Kensington is a neighborhood in transition. Fancy new developments are popping up everywhere, but like so many areas of Philadelphia, the true appeal of South Kensington comes from it’s rich history and amalgamation of cultures. Although South Kensington isn’t (yet) the tourist destination that neighboring Northern Liberties or Fishtown are touted as, it still has much to offer.

I won’t lie: at first I turned my nose up at the idea of indoor mini-golf course at Keystone, but after finally visiting I have changed my tune. The holes may not be good enough for Myrtle Beach, but they’re fun and uniquely Philadelphia. In addition to the 9 indoor holes, they’ve added 9 more in the courtyard, which I can’t wait to hang out in myself. And don’t forget that you can bring your own beer (you have to play a round, of course) for extra fun.
